The University intends to further strengthen and expand its outreach for youth and innovate in technical education, research and industrially relevant innovations at national and global level. Expansion with quality assurance - with qualified faculty; enabling environment; use of technology in education delivery and with a global perspective. Shobhit University would take up following initiatives as part of its future Plans.

  • Continuously strive to enhance the quality of education, research, innovations and simultaneously enhancing and strengthening the overall environment to achieve the set vision, mission and objectives of the University.
  • Expand and further strengthen its knowledge infrastructure e.g. library, virtual e-library, modern laboratories & equipments which are accessible 24 x 7 x 365 days to students and faculty and supported by quality, motivated, experienced and qualified support staff & leadership.
  • Further popularize and promote the thrust areas identified by the University, introduction of dual degree programs and integrated Master’s programs in thrust areas of relevance to our country.
  • Promote need based, market and industry driven new B.Tech. and PG programs, MBA and scholarships for Ph.D. including Teaching-cum-Research Fellowships.
  • Expand and further strengthen our academic infrastructure by constructing modern & fully equipped academic blocks, auditoria, a teaching block housing ICT enabled lecture theatres and additional hostel facilities for both boys and girls.
  • Transform selected research laboratories to world class standards and develop national level test houses cum research centers.
  • Establish a Knowledge Park cum Technology Incubator in campus to promote student and faculty led techno-enterprises and facilitate effective industry institution interaction.
  • Further strengthening established partnership with the industry and alumni to further boost employability of our graduates.
  • Introduce the concept of Commercialization of innovations developed by the institute.
  • A Staff College for faculty development will also be set up to support the Faculty Development mission.
  • Setting up ‘Virtual Innovation Centre’ at the University campus in order to facilitate and develop mutual interests and advances in computer and information sciences, pharmacy, agri-informatics, biomedical engineering by managing thought leadership and accessing emerging technology.
  • Setting up a Project Development Centre, to facilitate education, research, training and professional exchanges and advances in computer and information sciences, management thought leadership and emerging technology in Information Technology, Computer science & Communication research.
  • As there is need to go beyond multi-disciplinary options, we have adopted  a system of collaborative and interdisciplinary education with focus on innovation through R & D programs conducted by the integrated efforts of scientists, engineers, technocrats and social scientists using the concepts, theories, techniques and perspectives from several disciplines.
  • The University also plans to establish Centres for under-developed countries to provide affordable and quality academic training for empowerment of the youth globally.
    The University has taken the following initiatives to fulfill its mission
    • Recruit and retain a diverse faculty of outstanding teachers, scholars and highly qualified, service-oriented staff, committed to the advancement of the University's Vision, Mission and Values,
    • Enroll, support and graduate a diverse student body, which demonstrates high academic achievement, strong leadership capability, concern for others and a sense of responsibility for the weak and the vulnerable.
    • Provide a stimulating campus environment that promotes.
      i. Learning resources to enhance curriculum and support scholarship.
      ii. Technology solutions to enhance learning and improved services
      iii. Facilities to support outstanding educational program
  • The University ensures infrastructural growth and development commensurate to the needs of future and the plan for enrolment growth at a steady rate, while maintaining high standards of education and research and meeting the sustainability objectives as per national and international priorities.
Universities have two core processes: teaching and research. The output of teaching is learning and the output of research is a contribution to knowledge. What are the learning outcomes that we want for our students? We have a clear view of the learning aims of higher education and are working hard;
  • To disseminate knowledge;
  • To develop the capability to use ideas and information;
  • To develop critical faculties;
  • To develop the student's ability to generate ideas and evidence;
  • To facilitate the personal development of students;
  • To develop the capacity of students to plan and manage own learning.
