The University provide to the students full range of fitness and recreation programs. Such programs improve the quality of life on campus for the entire community; strengthen ties between and among students provide opportunities for participation in sport clubs, recreational fitness and wellness programs and informal recreation; help reduce the stress experienced by those who live, work and study at Shobhit University and improve the health and well-being of the campus community.

Under our Campus to Community programme, students are encouraged to participate in the development and uplifting of the weaker sections programmes through different societies and clubs. Awareness camps and drives for issues like HIV and AIDS awareness, plantation, blood donation, global warming are regular features of the University life.

      Keeping in view the decision taken by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to start Finishing School in elite institutions of the country; it is pertinent to note that Shobhit University is a part of this initiative since conferment of University status. Finishing School is a concept in which students are prepared to meet the requirements of industries. Moreover, it also aims to provide both technical and soft skills to students to facilitate their employability and play a part in the supply side issues (of talent) of the industry.

    • Provision of courses beyond syllabus to hone up employment skills.
    • Eminent professionals for delivering lectures/ expert talks on emerging topics.
    • Organisation of Mathematics Olympiad every year on 3rd Sunday of November.
    • Organisation of Education Day on 11th Nov. every year on the occasion of birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of India.

    • Government of India in consultation with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Indian Banker's Association (IBA) has framed a Comprehensive Educational Loan Scheme to ensure that no deserving student in the Country is deprived of higher education for want of finances.       Under the Adarsh Book Bank Scheme, the students are provided the facility to get one book per subject for each semester during the whole duration of their course. The books are carefully selected by the faculty members. In order to seek this facility, subsidized membership fee of Rs.1100/-* (may be changed by the university authorities) is charged for the course duration from a student of this University who opts to become a member of the Adarsh Book Bank Scheme. This scheme is helping the students in getting standard text books within the campus which are written by reputed authors and publishers, for which they otherwise have to go to the market and it is not sure that they will get such standard books.

      Shobhit University, Meerut, India in the very first year of its establishment launched a unique Personal Accident Insurance Scheme called Adarsh SUBIDHA Scheme (Adarsh Shobhit University Bima Dhan Scheme).

      Shobhit University, Meerut, India in the very first year of its establishment launched a unique Personal Accident Insurance Scheme called Adarsh SUBIDHA Scheme (Adarsh Shobhit University Bima Dhan Scheme) which became operational since 10.09.2007.

      The uniqueness is in that the policy for Rs.33 crore ( Rs. 330 million) taken covers not only all the staff members of the University but also the first year students enrolled in the University as well as their parents/financing guardians from personal accident arising out of any violent/visible means resulting into partial/permanent disablement or death. The extent of coverage in case of students & staff is for Rs.1 Lakh whereas for the guardians/parents coverage is for the increased amount of Rs.2 Lakh. Keeping in view the fact that in case of any untoward accident, the study of students does not get affected due to financial constraints.

      The extent of insurance coverage is as under:- Insured Category, Risk covered i.e. coverage provided, Extent of Insurance;

      1. Students - Rs.1 Lakh
      2. Parents/financing guardians - Rs.2 Lakh
      3. Staff of University - Rs.1 Lakh
      Management has borne total premium & other expenses keeping the social welfare uppermost in their mind as well as corporate social responsibility. Such type of personal care also reflects deep ethos and high human value of the management. This University is the only University in India having extended spontaneously such type of insurance cover having social security angle.
